Master's Message
Brethren,
As we begin our new year, let us be reminded that a simple number change on the calendar does not bring about new habits, ideas, or opportunities. The person you were on December 31 is the same person you are on January 1. Changes do not happen overnight, but just like turning the page of a book, what comes next can alter the course of the story. Whatever comes next in your story, I hope and pray that it's a page turner!
Again, let me thank you for trusting me to serve our lodge as Worshipful Master. Last year we grew in membership with new members being initiated and others transferring from other lodges into our own. I know this trend will continue. We have some great events planned for members and our families. We'll also be performing three community service projects and growing our charitable endeavors. Education and fellowship will be the focus in the lodge with interesting programs and visitations on the agenda. And last, but certainly not least, we will be training and mentoring both new and seasoned members alike.
None of this is possible without you! This is your lodge, and it needs your participation. Whether it's showing up at a Stated meeting to voice your opinion and have your vote counted, attending an extra meeting to support our candidates, taking part on a committee or in a community service project, the lodge will benefit from your presence. YOU are the secret ingredient.
I hope you and your families had a wonderful holiday season and I wish you all a healthy and prosperous new year!
Sincerely & Fraternally,
Bro. Timothy J. Curran, PM, WM
